A mother who loves her family so much they can’t stand to be near her. A
father whose life is devoted to looking after his invalid wife. Three children
looking to the future but never forgetting the past
Set in a rural post office as the old telephone
exchange is being removed, The Way You Look Tonight explores the breakdown in
communication in a family. Katherine, the mother, attempts to reopen the lines

A tough, warm, emotional, Irish play, this is a story of love, guilt and the
power of imagination.
