Three people get together to plot to blow up the world and they do. Boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom.

Written by Vincent Eaton, 'Boom' is ITG's entry into the FEATS 2007 festival (Festival of European Anglophone Theatrical Societies held in the Hague from 25-28 May).

A special preview of 'Boom' took place on 12-13 May 2007 at 7pm in the British School of Brussels in Tervuren. Also performed each night are the FEATS entries for the American Theatre Company (ATC) and the European Comedy Club (ECC), namely:

Renaissance Farces (presented by ATC)
Adapted by Joseph Strick, Directed by Christine Marchand-Long
Three sixteenth-century farces:

  • "The Anatomist" - an old man who should know better that to chase young girls gets the fright of his life

  • "The Trial of Sister Bigass" - nocturnal carryings-on in a convent

  • "Tabarin" - The scheming servant receives his just retribution

Faust (presented by ECC)
Written by Christpher Marlowe, directed by Steve Challens
Marlowe's tale re-told. The story of a man and his deal in selling his soul to the devil. A myth that still resonates in today's society.

Performances: 12-13 May 2007 in the British School of Brussels in Tervuren.
